Nigerian Actress, Kate Henshaw scolded a fan who accused her of toning her skin.

A fan tweeted at her picture saying: "She's now toning her skin. Well it is good".

Kate Henshaw quickly replied to dismiss her shade. "You and who is toning?? I like my dark skin..scratch that...i LOVE my dark skin. Thank you".see photos bellow...

“I Still Love Flavour” – Anna Banner [former beauty queen]

 
Former beauty queen, Anna Banner, not only attained stardom when she won in the Most Beautiful Girl competition in Nigeria some years back, but becoming singer, Flavour’s baby mama added to her popularity.

And as much as she said she never used her pregnancy to ‘hook’ the singer, Anna, in an exclusive chat with Saturday Beats, also said she was still in love with Flavour, even if he has yet to marry her after having a child for him.

“I couldn’t have purposely got pregnant because I wanted to hook a star. I was already a star too. I wasn’t looking for fame; I was even running away from fame. But I got pregnant for somebody I really loved. It wasn’t planned. It was my mistake but I wouldn’t call my child a mistake. I was careless. But I thank God it happened with a man who I loved and who didn’t turn his back on me.


“When you love someone, it is hard to fall out. You cannot fall in love today and fall out of love tomorrow. Love is strong. Before you tell somebody you love him, you have to be sure. Flavour was the first man I fell in love with. I still love him as the beautiful soul he has and as the father of my child. I don’t know what the future holds but we are just taking things one step at a time.”

She got pregnant after she featured in Flavour’s Golibe video but Anna said her relationship with the singer had nothing to do with the video.

“Some people have got it twisted. It wasn’t because of the video that I had a child for him. We didn’t start dating because of the video either. It just happened and it happened.”

And as Flavour has another baby mama, Sandra Okagbue, and who he has yet to tie the knots with either, Anna said she is not jealous of the other woman in his life.


“Why should I be jealous? We are all humans but what will be will be. If you get jealous today, where will it lead you to? All I want is for my child to be happy.”

Recalling how she felt when she found out she was pregnant, the young lady said she was devastated.

“I was demoralised. I was finished! I was frustrated! My parents were disgusted at my sight. It was my cross, so I had to carry it. I decided I was going to keep the baby even if I wasn’t married. It turned out to be the best decision I have made. I am not saying it is good to get pregnant at a young age and have a baby but whatever choices you make, you need to know there are consequences and you have to get ready to face the consequences. I was ready to face mine and I will not advise anybody to get pregnant at a young age. But if you get pregnant, abortion is not the next step.”


Probably because of her experience in life, Anna said she intends to set up a foundation in future.

“I am going to have a foundation and I hope it turns out the way I want. It is about empowering young girls just like me not to give up. A lot of young girls got pregnant at a young age just like me and they gave up. I just want to encourage them that this is not the end of the world; you can do so many things. It is never late to go back to school. Age is just a number, your child will grow up to love and appreciate you. Even if it is not school, learn how to do something, empower yourself.”

Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, said he considered stepping down as the club’s manager “for personal reasons” before changing his mind to sign a two-year contract extension in May.

The Frenchman also admitted recently of impacting negatively on the team as they finished outside the Champions League places for the first time in his 21-year reign.
The coach told Telefoot that he thought long and hard about his decision to stay on before penning a new deal after the FA Cup victory over Chelsea.
He said, “Yes, I hesitated to extend my contract for personal reasons.
“I’ve been at Arsenal for 20 years, and you ask yourself all the time if you should continue leading the club, and also because we suffered quite a bit during the season.”
The season did not start well for Wenger as he faces renewed criticism after Arsenal lost two of their three opening games of the season.
He insisted that his team can still turn things around.
“It’s a very difficult start to the season, because we started with a game at home that we won at the death with a good performance.
“We lost the second by being quite good but not clinical, and the third was a catastrophic performance. That raises a lot of questions.
“In spite of everything, the team has real potential and we have to pick ourselves up as you always have to do in a crisis and we have to win the next game.”

Olamide advises young ones not to drop out

 

Nigerian rapper, Olamide Adedeji who at the moment has been making all clubs and parties bang with his “WO” song, has advised young ones not to drop out of school to fulfill their dreams.

According to Olamide he was lucky to have fulfilled his own dream despite dropping out of school, but they might not be that lucky.

He however assured that, if only his parents were able to pay his school fees back then, he would have stayed to be a graduate today.

Speaking to Sunday Scoop, Olamide said;

“I was lucky to achieve my dreams despite dropping out of school. I left the university because my parents were not able to pay my tuition fees; as such, leaving school wasn’t of my own making.

If there was money, I definitely would have remained in school. You don’t have to drop out of school to fulfill your dreams.

However, if due to one reason or the other, you are unable to complete your education, you should also know that you can still succeed regardless.”

Lil Wayne been Hospitalized again....

Young Money recording artist, Dwayne Carter , famously known as Lil Wayne has been hospitalized after reportedly suffering seizures due to his running bout with epilepsy.


The star is likewise known to enjoy lean, a blend of soft drinks and promethzine or codeine, which produces euphoric emotions and is known to trigger eplieptic fits.

According to TMZ, Wayne was reportedly found unconscious in his Chicago hotel room after having a seizure, and he was then rushed to Northwestern Memorial where he suffered another seizure.

Weezy’s Vegas performances have been cancelled due to the unfortunate turn of events. Our thoughts are with the rapper and we will kee you updated on his recovery.
Wayne also suffered seizures several times in 2013 .

Uniformed men suspected to be men of the Nigerian Army have reportedly beaten to death a young man in Awka, Anambra State on the order of his father.

THISDAY gathered that the man, identified as Chibuzor, who is the only son had an altercation with his father after he brought home a lady he wanted to marry.

Our correspondent gathered that the man had refused the choice of wife brought home by his son, insisting that the lady was older than his son.

A source said the deceased had earlier married with a child, but decided to remarry after separation from the first wife, but was however disappointed when the father refused to give his approval to the marriage.

“As the rift between the man and his father escalated, the father invited men in uniform, which resulted to the annoyance of the son who poured hot water on his father”, the source added.

According to the source, the action of the deceased resulted in his being beaten up by the uniformed men, and was rushed to the hospital when he collapsed, but later died.

Meanwhile, tension rose Saturday in Umuayom village Awka, following the death of the young man as youths of the community went on rampage, making bonfire in protest of the death of their colleague.

Confirming the incident, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Princess Nkeiruka Nwode, said the command had quickly deployed men to the scene, adding that the proposed wife of the deceased has also been rescued from the area.
